The Beauty of Receiving

To ask is to be strong.

backstory: Today, I simply want to say THANK YOU to everyone, who read and responded to my big ask, last week’s post. Because at its core, I was asking the reader to listen, validate and support. I was also aware that I maybe asking too much as the menopausal journey is or can be highly personal. So, I am truly touched by your openness and kindness in sharing your own personal experiences. If your thoughtful responses are not the beauty of receiving (and asking), I don’t know what is!

I’m glad the responses last week touched your heart. And I’m glad you had the wisdom to request them. xx

  2. “To ask is to be strong”

    Indeed!!!

Good Sunday. Thank you for dropping by my blog today.

    Much💖love

  3. I completely agree, dear Khaya. “To ask [and to receive] is to be strong[er]”. We can do so much when we open our hearts to one another, and when we treat that openness with gentleness.

  4. “To ask is to be strong” really resonates with me right now. I’ve made myself ask more where in the past I would have stayed quiet. So far, it’s been a good experience.

  5. I’m an otherish giver but that doesn’t mean it’s always easy for me to ask. So, like you, I’m making myself ask for support more lately. And it’s been a good experience. May you continue to have the courage to ask or simply talk, instead of keeping quiet. Take care, dear Rommy!
