Smiling Without A Reason

Contentment is smiling without a reason.

backstory: I also understand contentment to mean creating my own world, living as my best self, sharing not only beauty but joy with others and being grateful. All this could explain why I’ve been walking around grinning like a lunatic this past week. 😀

So, please let’s hear it. What are you content about, lately?

As always, a lovely Sunday to you! <3

  1. …and not even knowing you’re smiling! I’ve been finding myself smiling ‘for no conscious reason’ and I believe that’s a sign “It is well with my soul” no matter the times we’re in!
I especially can conjure up a spontaneous smile of contentment whenever I think on my ‘happy places’, favorite loved ones’ encounters and such.
Excellent quote you just invented, Khaya.

  2. How wonderful, Khaya. You made me smile. It’s contagious. 🙂

  3. Contentment is a big concept. It is also a gift from grace. So glad you have found it.

  4. I love your edifying and positive reflection Khaya. Oh the beauty and gratitude in the quietude of contentment. Now honey, this truly brought a smile to my face. Thank you for sharing this my friend. 🥰💖🤗

  5. I wish you all the contentment you can find! For me, I recently got a new day job that I think I’m going to love, which relieves a lot of previous work stress. And even when they drive me mad, I am always happy with my family.

  6. Oh wow, Laura! What can I say, I believe in the power of synchronicity.“It is well with my soul” indeed.
And those “happy places” play a huge role, especially in these unpredictable times.
Keep smiling, dreaming and creating! <3
